Sorry about that! It was the first time I included audio. I will make sure to adjust accordingly in the future.

For what it’s worth, my previous comment was intended as a footnote to your video and not directed to any specific person, but to everybody in general.

A truly healthy diet is vital, as is regular exercise. Our bodies’ metobolic process was not designed for a purely sedentary life. If your normal daily “routine” doesn’t keep you fit, strong and in decent shape, take steps to remain strong by doing gravity-based calistenics and some cardio. Throw in a decent-sized dumbell for added results.

Give up coffee though? *sobs*

Well Gary, not sure how I feel about vegan, I am staunch about getting my protein and there is a lot of research that suggests that we need meat in our diets. I used to be vegetarian and I was on a macrobiotic diet too, both of them were unsatisfying to me. Not to say that it doesn’t work for other people. I find I get irritable and depressed without meat, and more specifically, animal fats. While I think taking supplements is an ok thing to do, but it kills gut flora.

Good advice!
To take it a step further, go vegan.
Also, elimate wheat. I use spelt or brown
rice bread/pasta.
Take supplements too. As a minimun, Vitamin C
4 times a day. Green tea supplements too.
Eat a lot of garlic. Juicing is the best, but it’s too much work right now, so I use the green concentrated powders 3 times a day.
Cook beans like black or kidney. Make 5 cups at a time and freeze them. I eat walnuts for breakfast and almonds for lunch and I don’t get hungry.

HP, Try the blood type diet. ‘Right 4 your type’ - D’Adamo. It may be called a diet. In actuality it is a highly beneficial way to consume food your body readily digests through genetic recognition. The body was designed through evolution/time. Aquarain makes superior gravity filter compared to Berkey

i have a berkey light and it cant filter flouride but you can get a filter to put in the inline of your house and it lasts about six months, flouride is very hard to remove from water once added so is very hard on filters peace caio

Thanks for the info, I do occasionally get unpasteurized and unfiltered beer. I try to stick with small, relatively local breweries. Hopefully I’ll get into brewing my own one of these days.

For fasting, not necessarily, you just want to not eat! It is pretty simple really, but difficult at the same time! I have to work on it myself.

IRA

Maybe it can’t? The Berkey, I’m drinking tap water actually.. Will have to look into that.. Hey you know what crissala, we are not perfect and you can enjoy ice cream here and there.. Don’t be too hard on yourself, it isn’t so much about taking things out of your diet as it is about including new healthier things. I think getting hormone free meat and non gmo foods is a great way to do that! You are on the right track.. So give yourself a pat on the back..

I’m trying your suggestion to fast. Today is a trial. I’ve had three cups of green tea; is there anything else that fits into the plan?

Spring water will be flouride free, as well as any water that used reverse osmosis as a process. Safeway “refresh” brand is one.

I am looking for fluoride free drinking water already bottled for storage. Anybody?

Okay I sit down with my Haagen-Dazs yours is the 1st video and now I feel really guilty. If they or anyone would make icecream with agave or nu-naturals stevia, I would buy it. I usually make fruit smoothies with a little agave. My big thing lately is buying good hormone free meat and searching out GMO free food sources. I am angry about GMO food and non-label issues so we can avoid it!
Also are you drinking well water or rain water because I didn’t think that the Berky could filter fluoride.

Hey Killa, I agree with you there! I like Ezekiel bread too, I only eat that or sourdough bread, otherwise, the other stuff, well, it can clog up your intestines and what not. You are ahead of the game if you even know about sprouted bread!

There is some controversy about that. Beer was initially made to be drunk unpasteurized, I can only see drinking it in that way as healthy, because it contains enzymes and beneficial microbiology, other wise, pasteurization kills those components. Same thing with wine. They were originally fermented living foods. That is how I would drink them, personally, I’ve got a book drinks from the wild and Wild fermentation, that teaches you how to make your own fermented drinks!! Message for Banjodan.

Hey xschneider, I will refer you to another channel I’m subscribed to, undergroundwellness, Shaun explains very well the implications of protein shakes, especially soy and whey. He recommends some different products. But, you can actually make your own whey if you want. Just make yogurt, and use the liquid that separates from the milk in your shake, and that should do you good!

Thanks for the info. I found this very interesting.

What are some issues with protein shakes?
